Decrease Your Food Load or Just Save Money With Food Dehydration

As a camper I’ve just recently gotten into food dehydration as a way of fitting more food into the cooler. We have a large people mover (KIA Carnival), no trailer and four kids so even though the car is big space is still at a premium.

My kids are fussy so I’ll probably be the only one eating those yummy dried strawberries and bananas but the dehydrator will still come in handy for drying out complete meals to re-hydrate as needed. Things like baked beans, eggs, spaghetti bolognese and the many curried meals my family eat are perfect candidates for food dehydration.
